When can I register for CFA Level 1 2022?
The May 2022 level 1 CFA exam window is from 17 to 23 May. The registration opens on 20 July 2021 and closes on 8 Feb 2022. After you register for your exam, you must self-schedule your exam appointment using the so-called ProScheduler available on a dedicated platform.
Can CFA Level 1 exam be postponed?
A: Yes, you may. Rescheduling after initial appointment incurs USD 25* fee only within the testing window (e.g May candidates can only reschedule dates within May testing window sitting only) as per the CFA Exam Admission and Appointment Policy here.
What happens if I miss my CFA exam?
If the candidate does not schedule an exam, they lose the registration fee and exam is voided according to CFA Institute policy. Candidates who do not schedule their exam by the published deadline will not be able to sit for their exam and will forfeit their registration fee.
Can I prepare for CFA Level 2 in 3months?
On average, CFA Level 2 candidates logged 328 hours of studying time. In my experience, I think 350 hours of studying time is more realistic for a good chance of passing, especially if done in 4 months.
Is 6 months enough for CFA Level 1?

What time is the CFA exam?
The testing time has been reduced to approximately 4.5 hours from 6 hours. The Level I exam will remain in multiple-choice format. The Level II and Level III exams will continue to use item set (vignettes) and essay formats (Level III) as previously used for the paper-based exams.

When is the CFA exam?
The exams—CFA Levels I, II, and III—are sequential. The candidate must pass one exam before sitting for the next. The CFA Institute offers all the tests annually in June. The CFA Level I Exam is also given each year in December. Each test is six hours long.
